Throughout these few weeks, I have shot portraits and paintings of different people within my class. Creativity is a major part of photography which is something that I have learned when shooting with these people. I had a great experience with them and I hope to do more!

In today's world, one can do beautiful and amazing things with film. Some people say that film is "vintage," but others think otherwise and exemplify it by shooting all of these images that could be mistaken as digital! There are many things that one can do with film in general! After learning the Exposure Triangle, it has been easier to take photos, whether indoors or outdoors. For beginners, one could buy any kind of film that could be found in local drug stores. "Any film that is not intended for professional us is generic." (pg. 134) Also, when printing photos, one could use the developer in many ways like the ones I've made. Just remember, film has never died and will always live. One of our recent projects was to take portraits, so I decided to take mine outside! I chose to use both digital and film cameras, and was very greatful that my film pictures that turned out well. I was very thankful that I was able to take pictures of my best friend,Nakasha, and it didn't take as long as I thought. This picture was actually taken digitally, and all I had to brighten it, then add red! I had a great experience taking portraits both digitally and film, and I hope it will be the same in the future. Since spring is finally here, there are more flowers to take pictures of! This picture of this flower was actually taken in the comfort of my own home, but with a different camera and color film. The camera I used had an extension and it was both capable of zooming in, and focusing on an object. I really hope that i can use this camera again soon. Since I had checked out a camera on the same day I had a golf lesson, I decided to take pictures of anything that my dad and I would pass by. That day I promised to take a better picture of the sign that is in front of the facility. Honestly, I'm very happy how this picture turned out, especially with the light leak! The day before Valentine's Day, my dad, sister, and I had to run to the store really quick to get my mother flowers. As we were looking for flowers, we finally the perfect ones, and they were her favorite color: purple. As we walked in our house, we hid them behind my dad's back, and said that we loved her, and handed her the lavender flowers that she immediately loved. |
